In This article, I’ll teach you the steps you need to take in order to start a profitable YouTube Channel in 2022 – one that will be making you at least 6 figures every month!.
Pick a Niche
Ideally, you have to treat your YouTube Channel as your Business in order to succeed, plan on your strategy and how you intend to climb the ladder to success.
You have to decide on what type of content your Channel will be based on before even going on to create the Channel, so you won’t quit on the long run.
It was really hard for me to come with a YouTube Channel Idea some years back but I later cracked it, CLICK HERE to see how I did it.
Create and Verify Your Channel
The First Step toward starting a successful YouTube channel is creating the Channel.
Now Before you just jump in and create a random channel, you have to think of the niche that you’re going to create content on.
And then find a way to add that to your Channel name, so it’ll be easier for your future audience to know what your channel is all about.
Some People May ask ‘How much does it cost to start a YouTube channel?’
Well, starting a YouTube Channel doesn’t have to cost you money.
It’s generally dependent on your niche, some niches require you to show your face or to add your voice, that is when you’re going to use money.
You’ll have to buy a recording camera, speaker, lighting etc..
On a personal note, I don’t have this but I still make money on YouTube.
In the same vein, it doesn’t necessarily mean that once you buy all these flashy Gadgets you’ll make more money.
While you can choose to start a YouTube Channel without buying any gadget, do keep in mind that YouTube can ban your Channel for these reasons, do not let your hard work go to waste.
To Get Started:
- Sign In to YouTube, and Create the Channel
- Change Channel Name and add description
- Verify YouTube Channel.
All these steps I believe, are very much self explanatory but just in case..
Important: If you’re having trouble coming up with a YouTube Idea, i.e. you don’t know what type of content you should create that won’t bore you out in the long run, then I can help you, read this article ASAP.

You can get started with Facebook and Instagram.
Just post consistently and with time your audience will grow, both Facebook and Instagram are competing with YouTube.
So their video content are favored more than the traditional image and link posts.
See How to Promote YouTube Channel on Instagram and get more subscribers.
I can remember sometime in 2019 when I was struggling to breakout my YouTube Channel.
My main and only goal then was to get to 1000 Subscribers and 4000 watch hours within 6 months of uploading content.
Facebook helped me reach that, though it took some time.
I made something like a sneak peak of the video I uploaded on YouTube, then posted it on my profile.
Before posting, I wrote an enticing description and added the link.
I also tagged 40 Facebook friends.
The post was just getting a little number of views at first, but before the month passed, it started skyrocketing in views and also engagement.
I was amazed.
But I never thought that it would help my video reach more people on YouTube.
With time, the video was getting roughly 1000 clicks from Facebook to YouTube every month.
YouTube started recommending the video below the videos of my Top Competitors and bam!
I surpassed the threshold required for AdSense YouTube Monetization 2 months later.

What You Should Know about making your Channel Profitable
In making your YouTube Channel profitable, Quality content is king.
The more content you create, the more views and subscribers you’ll get and the more money you’ll make.
The reason why most people quit is that they just open up a YouTube Channel, then upload like 20 random videos and hope to get millions of views, it doesn’t work that way,
I’ve seen people buy already successful YouTube Channels and start making money right off the back, at least that’s what they all say, see what I found out on this.
Anyways, Let’s say for example, you dedicated your time to create 20 high quality YouTube videos every month for five months.
Then you’ll have at least 100 videos on your channel, if each video has an average of 500 views every month.
You’ll then be getting at least 50,000 views every month, which is quite great.
With Such amount of views and implementing the strategies in this great article, you’ll see yourself making more than you ever thought you could make.
