Let’s now go through the process of installing WordPress Locally, it’s free and can be completed in 2 Easy steps.
Firstly, we are going to download software known as Bitnami WordPress, this software allows us to run WordPress on our Computer.
Download Bitnami WordPress
Open your Browser, the most preferred is Chrome, then enter Bitnami WordPress in the search bar and click on Search.
Click on the first link and then download Bitnami WordPress for Windows using the specified link.
You should now install the Software, let’s take a look at the process…
Installing Bitnami WordPress
Click on the .exe file which was downloaded and then click on Ok, on the next Wizard Page, keep clicking on next till you reach the admin account page.
You’ll be required to enter your name, email address, username, and password to proceed to the next step.
Make sure you remember your Username and your password because you need them to log in to your Local WordPress Website after Installation.
Once you’re done, keep clicking next until the installation starts, or usually takes a few seconds to complete, click on finish once it’s done.
You’ll be taken to a new page, click on Access your site and you’ll be taken to your new locally installed WordPress Website.
