Being the Best Ad Network to join when your blog is still in its infancy because it helps you grow while also making money, New Bloggers often want to find out just how much they can make.
Getting your site approved for Ezoic is very easy and more so when they removed the 10,000 pageviews minimum requirements and released the Access Now Program.
How Much Can You Earn with Ezoic?
If your site is new, you probably don’t have enough data for the Ezoic Platform to optimize and increase your revenue and that’s why new sites see $5 – $10 ePMV on average.
But as your site grows past the Access Now Program which is basically for sites that get less than 10,000 pageviews a month, you’ll start seeing significant improvements in revenue.
At Level 2, I was able to get $55 ePMV for one of my sites, which is very good considering how much you’ll make with Google AdSense.
That Being Said, you must note that more traffic doesn’t mean more revenue (to an extent tho…), you’ll need to optimize a couple of stuff and increase your ePMV.
Which Factors Influence My Ezoic ePMV?
ePMV for Ezoic stands for Earnings Per Thousand Views. There are a couple of factors that influence your Site’s ePMV and they include:
- Website’s Niche
- Traffic Sources
- Ezoic Levels
- Ad Density and Placements
- Visitors Demographics
Factor #1: Your Website’s Niche plays an important role in deciding how much your site is going to make per 1000 views. Competitive Niches earn more because they have more advertisers bidding for ad spots.
Factor #2: Traffic Sources also have a major impact on your Site’s ePMV, I’ve found Google SEO Traffic and Pinterest Traffic to get the Best ePMV Rate for my sites.
Factor #3: The higher your Site’s level, the more features, and high-paying advertisers are unlocked for you. In my experience, I was getting an average of $9 ePMV in the Access Now Program but as soon as I made it into Level 2, I started seeing $55 ePMV on some good days.
Factor #4: Ad Density (Number of Ads on your Page) and Ad Placements are going to impact your user’s overall page experience. I get that you may think more ads are equal to more revenue and that is true for Ezoic but you have to find the balance between User Experience and Monetization so you can keep your Audience.
Factor #5: The Location of your Site’s visitors impact your ad revenue severely, after all, they are the ones that make you the money. I’ve found United States Traffic to be the best in terms of ePMV impact and Indian Traffic to be the worst (no offense to Indians, just that advertisers don’t like to target your Country and that’s bad for business).
Final Thoughts
Ezoic is an overall great ad network and I recommend it to every one of my readers that are starting new blogs and haven’t qualified for Mediavine yet.
