Approval Process
Well, if you’ve been a reader on my website, you must have noticed that I mention that it’s quite hard to get AdSense approval most especially if your website is relatively new.
The case is very different when you talk about Adsterra, you can basically verify ownership of your domain and you’ll get approved in less than 10 minutes, I can attest to that.
What are the requirements to get Adsterra approval in 2022?
The only requirement for Adsterra is that you’ll verify your domain, they do not care about your content, they’ll approve your website even if it has zero content.
I’ve emphasized enough on the requirements to get AdSense approval on this website, you can check my ad networks category for more.
Ad Formats
Google AdSense vs Adsterra
When it comes to Ad Formats, I gotta hand it to the big dawg AdSense, they offer in-article ads, in-feed ads, search ads, auto ads, etc.
Ad Formats offered by Adsterra include: popunder, social bar, push ads, native ads, video ads and banners.
The main reasons why I picked AdSense over Adsterra when it comes to Ad Formats is that Adsterra ads may look spammy on your website and hurt user experience, so also they don’t have a lot of advertisers,
This means low click through rates and less revenue for you, if a visitor sees an ad the first time and clicks it, if he sees it 5 more times, do you think he’ll click.
Which one pays more in 2022?
Google AdSense vs Adsterra
While I can’t give you a definite CPM rate on any of the 2 ad networks, you’re guaranteed to earn more if you use AdSense.
Depending on your niche, traffic by country and article keywords’ CPC, you may see CPM rates from $2 to $25 on AdSense but on AdSterra, your CPM only depends on the country of your traffic.
AdSense will pay you more because they’ll scan your content and display relevant ads to your audience, in the case that there’s no advertiser bidding for the keywords in your content,
They’ll display the ads based on the user’s interests, you know all these tech company spy on everybody and only few notice, Google will use your search history to display relevant ads.
Payment Method(s)
Google AdSense vs Adsterra
Adsterra offers a wider variety of payment methods compared to AdSense, on Adsterra you can receive your earnings via PayPal, Webmoney, Wire, and Paxum,
While you can receive Google AdSense pays publishers via check, EFT, Rapida, Western Union or Wire Transfer. These options depend on your location.
The minimum payment threshold to receive payments from Google AdSense is $100 and you’ll receive your payments in like 2 months time.
Adsterra will send your payments after you’ve surpassed the $5 Threshold, note that the threshold may increase in relation to the payment method you prefer to use.
