SEO is the best source of traffic for every website, it’s free and it’s reliable but can you use two different SEO Plugins on your WordPress Website?
This is a question mostly asked by new WordPress users because experts already know the answer which is…
Can I Use 2 SEO Plugins on a WordPress Site?
You Shouldn’t use two different SEO Plugins on your website as the plugins will conflict and harm your website’s SEO. In essence, you shouldn’t use two WordPress plugins that perform the same functions.
Using 2 SEO plugins isn’t good for your Website’s growth and so is switching SEO plugins frequently.
I can remember when I got Started with my first WordPress Website, I didn’t know which plugin I should use, that’s when I started switching through Rank Math SEO and Yoast SEO.
In the end, my Search Engine Results Pages were pretty messed up and my CTR and Traffic from Google started tripping downwards.
Which SEO Plugin Should you use?
You must choose one SEO Plugin and stick with it. As of now, I still stick with the Yoast SEO free version as of covers my needs.
By the way, I only need it to configure my site’s search appearance because I already understand the basics of writing SEO Optimized articles and I have a couple of other tools like Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc, that help me with those features that Rank Math offers.
However, if you’re a beginner to SEO and Don’t have the technical know-how for these external tools, you can go for Rank Math.
It’s a great Plugin that offers outstanding features like:
- Google Analytics and Search Console data import.
- Keyword Rank Tracking.
- SEO and Content Analysis.
- Google Trends Integration.
And many more…
