Review
I’ll give you as much detail as I can about each of the aforementioned Ad Networks.
Google Adsense
This is one of the oldest means of website monetization, if not the oldest.
Adsense is a CPC based ad network, which means that most advertisers will pay only when their ads are clicked.

Google Adsense is definitely a great choice if you’re a newbie blogger, using its ‘Auto Ads’ feature, you don’t need to bother about anything.
Adsense doesn’t need any minimum traffic requirement before you get approved but you do need to get some traffic to your site.
Their minimum payment threshold is $100.
Ezoic – Best Ad Network
Ezoic is an award-winning Google certified partner, they are simply one of the best in website monetization.
Once you integrate your site with Ezoic, you’ll get access to a free wordpress hosting, free speed optimization, video hosting and more.
On moving from Adsense to Ezoic, publishers have reportedly seen around 20% more revenue after they switched from Adsense to Ezoic.

While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Ezoic is superior to Adsense, you should try both of them and see which works better for you.
Ezoic Pays on a 30-day basis via Payoneer and Paypal and the minimum threshold is $20.
You do need traffic to join Ezoic, though no longer specify how much.
Sign Up for Ezoic now, even if your site was launched yesterday!
Outbrain
With a range of high class publishers and well paying advertisers, Outbrain not only helps you to monetize your content.
It Maximize revenues and user interest with a range of non interruptive Smartad formats.
Outbrain is definitely one of the best ad networks for big publishers.
Some of the Smart Ad Formats include: Smart Feed, native search, display, programmatic and video demand.

Outbrain is only for Big Publishers who publish high quality content and get at least 1 Million Monthly Pageviews.
The Minimum payout for Outbrain is $50, once you reach $50 you’ll receive your cash based on the payment terms present in your agreement.
Most times, the agreement states that you’ll receive payments in Net 60 or Net 90 days.
Taboola
This is another high paying ad network similar to Outbrain, they even tried to acquire Outbrain some time ago.
Taboola boasts of having over 9000 high paying and quality advertisers present in their system.
This Ad Network supports a wide range of ad formats which include: Taboola Feed, Video on Demand, Sponsored Content, etc.

Just like Outbrain, Taboola also has it’s own minimum traffic requirements. and it’s also among the best ad network for big publishers.
Your Blog or Website must get at least 500,000 pageviews per month to get accepted into the platform.
Taboola pays its publishers through Payoneer ever 45 days.
Media.net
Media.net boasts to have ne of the largest pool of advertisers which will maximize your monetization.
By market cap, Media.net is one of the Top 5 largest ad tech companies worldwide. By revenue, Media.net is the second largest contextual advertising business worldwide.
Media.net supports a wide range of ad formats which include: Contextual Ads, Display Ads, Native Ads, etc.

This ad network claims that it doesn’t have a minimum traffic requirement but that’s not true.
According to stats on their About Us Page, 90% of their advertisers are from the United States of America.
To get approved, at least 50% of your traffic needs to come from the USA.
Media.net is very picky on the publishers they accept, I personally don’t like them because, they can just reject your application without reason.
Mediavine
For me. Mediavine is the best ad network for publishers and bloggers in 2022.
However, you need 50,000 monthly sessions to get approved – Remember I didn’t say pageviews.
Sessions are different from pageviews.

Once one person visits your website and clicks through to 5 articles, it’ll be recorded in Google Analytics as 1 session and 5 pageviews.
To get 50,000 sessions on your site, you need to be averaging around 65000 monthly visitors.
If your site gets up to that traffic threshold, then sign up for Mediavine.
Adthrive
This is similar to mediavine but better. Publishers saw a 5x increase in revenue after switching.
Adthrive requires that your site gets 100,000 visits in the last 30 days.
For Big Publishers, Adthrive is the best ad networks for you, they pay better than Adsense, Mediavine and Ezoic.
When signing up, you’ll grant them access to your Google Analytics Reports so they can pull up your traffic stats.

Unfortunately, Even if you get up to 500,000 monthly visits to your site, it isn’t a guarantee that you’ll be accepted into their platform as a publisher.
It’s worth trying, if you got up to 100,000 visits to your site in the last 30 days.
So, Sign up for adthrive.
